 cle system as a model of FKPP fronts
DESCRIPTION:Julie TOURNIAIRE: The FKPP equation is a common model in popula
 tion dynamics\,\ndescribing how a population spreads and grows over time a
 nd space\,\nresulting in wave-like patterns.\nRecent studies by Birzu\, Ha
 llatschek and Korolev\non the noisy FKPP equation with Allee effects (or c
 ooperation)\nsuggest the existence of three classes of fluctuating wavefro
 nts:\npulled\, semipushed and fully pushed fronts.\nIn this talk\, I will 
 introduce an analytically tractable model\nfor fluctuating fronts\, descri
 bing the internal mechanisms\nthat drive the invasion of a habitat by a co
 operating population.\nI will then use this model to explain\nhow such mec
 hanisms shape the genealogy of the population.
