DESCRIPTION:Piet LAMMERS: The purpose of this talk is to present a new pers
 pective on the so-called\nBrydges–Fröhlich–Spencer random walk (BFS r
 andom walk). This allows us to\nwrite correlation functions in the XY mode
 l in a simple way. The new\nperspective leads to a simple framework making
  it easy to manipulate the\nrandom walks. The framework allows us to prove
  several results on the\ntwo-dimensional square lattice which will be broa
 dly discussed.\n\n&nbsp\;
