 utomatic sequences satisfy the full Sarnak conjecture
DESCRIPTION:Clemens Müllner: We use analytic tools to prove that the dynam
 ical system corresponding to any automatic sequence fulfils the Sarnak con
 jecture.\nIn particular\, any complex valued automatic sequence is orthogo
 nal to the Moebius function.\nIn this talk\, we develop a new method to re
 duce the treatment of automatic sequences to a structure combining synchro
 nizing and invertible aspects.\nWe use (and adapt) a method developed by M
 auduit and Rivat\, as well as combine ideas for invertible automata by Drm
 ota and Morgenbesser and synchronizing automata by Deshouillers\, Drmota a
 nd myself.\nFurthermore\, we prove a prime number theorem for many automat
