DESCRIPTION:Conference: Arithmetic\, Geometry\, Cryptography and Coding The
 ory\n-\nWe wish to organize a conference involving the interactions betwee
 n theoretical mathematics\, such as number theory and algebraic geometry\,
  with information theory and communication\, such as coding theory and cry
 ptography.\nThis conference will be the sixteenth edition of a conference 
 which began in 1987 with the best specialists of the field. Students and y
 oung researchers are invited to collaborate with senior researchers.\nThe 
 talks will focus on new theoretical mathematical results and will also pre
 sent effective or algorithmic results.\nThe conference will be organised a
 s such:\n— One or two plenary talks each day at the beginning of the ses
 sion\, given by high level researchers. Our hope is that part of these tal
 ks will be given by researchers outside our community\, in order to presen
 t new directions and new applications of arithmetic and/or algebraic geome
 try.\n— Other short\, specialized talks.\nTopics will include:\n— Numb
 er theory\, asymptotic behavior of families of global fields and statistic
  arithmetic\n— Arithmetic geometry\, algebraic curves over finite fields
  or over number fields\, Abelian varieties: point counting methods\, theor
 etical\, effective and algorithmic aspects in arithmetic geometry\n— Err
 or correcting codes\, algebraic codes\, geometric codes on algebraic curve
 s or on high dimensional varieties\, algebraic decoding algorithms\, etc.\
 n— Cryptography\, elliptic curves and Abelian varieties: discrete logari
 thm problem\, pairings\, explicit computing of isognies\, invariant theory
  and curves classification\n— Boolean functions\, bent functions\, APN f
 unctions: construction of families of bent functions and hyperbent functio
 ns\, etc.\nWe plan to publish proceedings of this conference in the Contem
