SUMMARY: (...): Boundary orbits and periodic points in holomorphic dynamics
DESCRIPTION:: In this talk\, I will introduce the main objects in complex d
 ynamics: the Fatou and the Julia sets. The Fatou set is where stable dynam
 ics take place\, whereas the dynamics in the Julia set are chaotic. Unders
 tanding the orbits in the Julia set is\, in general\, complicated. However
 \, when restricted to some forward invariant subsets of it\, using what we
  call boundary orbits. Moreover\, the presence and distribution of periodi
 c points in the Julia set will be discussed. \nThe talk is meant to be ac
 cessible for everybody\, even if you are not familiar with dynamics :)
