RIPTION\n\n\n\nThis workshop focuses on the applications of the Discrete D
uality Finite Volume (DDFV for short) method first developed for anisotrop
ic elliptic problems on general meshes. DDFV methods have been introduced
in the late 90’s to approximate linear elliptic problems on general mesh
es. The method has been extended to a wide range of applications:\n\n non
 linear elliptic problems\n convection-diffusion problems\n Stokes proble
 ms\n Navier Stokes problems\n Peaceman model\n Maxwell problems\n leve
 l-set problems\n hyperbolic problems\n Cahn-Hilliard problems ...\n\nTh
e good properties of DDFV have been extensively tested in the benchmarks 2
D\, 3D and NS.  The DDFV technique has now been applied in many applicati
ons in biology like image smoothing or edge detection or cell migration or
neuroscience\, in the design of semi-conductor devices\, weather forecast
and to mathematical finance.\n\nThis workshop will be the occasion for th
e DDFV community to gather and investigate new potential application areas
