SUMMARY: (...): Dynamical law of weakly interacting wavefronts in the FitzH
 ugh-Nagumo system
DESCRIPTION:: We deals with the FitzHugh-Nagumo activator-inhibitor system 
 on the infinite interval. When the degradation rate of the inhibitor is su
 fficiently large\, the system allows a stable standing wavefront. It is sh
 own that depending on the diffusion constants there are three types of the
  asymptotic behavior of the wavefront at the infinity. Then we derive a dy
 namical law for weakly interacting two wavefronts and show that the dynami
 cs of the fronts can be classified as repulsive\, attractive and stationar
 y\, corresponding to the above three types. This talk is based on the rece
 nt joint work with C.-N. Chen (Natinal Tsing Hua Univ.) and S. Ei (Hokkaid
