SUMMARY:Felipe Arbulú (LAMFA\, Univ. Picardie): Dynamical properties of mi
 nimal Ferenczi subshifts
DESCRIPTION:Felipe Arbulú: Rank-one systems are a class of dynamical syste
 ms arising in the late 60's and form a rich class of examples and counter-
 examples in ergodic theory. Notably\, the Chacon map was the first known e
 xample of a weakly mixing transformation which is not mixing. However\, a 
 complete classification of their dynamical properties still remains open.\
 n\nFrom the topological dynamics viewpoint\, we consider symbolic models o
 f rank-one systems\, that we decide to call “Ferenczi subshifts”.\nIn 
 this talk\, we provide an explicit S-adic representation of minimal Ferenc
 zi subshifts and we discuss how it can be used to study some dynamical pro
 perties of these subshifts.\nWe will particularly be interested in the com
 putation of the dimension group that characterises strong and weak orbit e
 quivalence and the computation of continuous and measurable eigenvalues.\n
