DESCRIPTION:João Carlos de Oliveira Souza: In this talk\, we discuss the i
 mage denoising problem through DC programming. We consider a non-convex mo
 del with Total Variation and show how it can be written as a DC (Differenc
 e of Convex) function. Therefore\, DC Algorithm (DCA) can be applied to im
 age denoising. On the other hand\, we also present recent developments on 
 boosting DCA (BDCA) which improves the computational performance of DCA.\n
