SUMMARY:Eduardo Velasquez (CPT (AMU)): Introduction to hadronic physics
DESCRIPTION:Eduardo Velasquez: \n\n\n\nAbstract : Quantum Chromodynamics (Q
 CD) is a Quantum Field Theory that describes one of the fundamental forces
  in nature\, the Strong Force. It was proposed in the 70’s by David Poli
 tzer\, Frank Wilczek y David Gross as a theory to understand the inner str
 ucture of protons and neutrons. In this talk I will first give a general d
 escription of how QCD describes the fermion sector of the Standard Model a
 nd it’s flavour and colour properties\, and how the process of hadroniza
 tion emerges from this. Afterwards\, I will show how to construct the Lagr
 angian of the Heavy Quark Effective Theory (HQET) and how it can be used t
 o describe heavy mesons.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nLe séminaire des doctorant⋅es
  de l'I2M et du CPT à Luminy regroupe chaque semaine les doctorant⋅es d
 u site autour d'un exposé plus ou moins (in)formel\, dans un cadre conviv
 ial. Il est évidemment ouvert aux étudiant⋅es de master et aux doctora
 nt⋅es d'autres laboratoires.\n\nPour le moment\, le séminaire a lieu da
 ns la salle 500-504b du TPR2\, au 5ème étage.
