DESCRIPTION:Songbo WANG: We study the Langevin dynamics of diffusive partic
 les with regular pairwise interactions under mean-field scaling. \nBy appr
 oximating empirical distributions with conditional distributions\, we esta
 blish coercive and \ncontractive properties for the modulated free energy 
 functional. These properties yield near-optimal \nlarge-scale concentratio
 n and relaxation rates for the particle system throughout the subcritical 
 regime. \nFurthermore\, we derive generation of chaos estimates with the o
 ptimal order of particle approximation.\nAs a simpler instance\, we demons
 trate long-time convergence of the independent projection of Langevin dyna
 mics.
