DESCRIPTION:Workshop: The "Cicadas": A Week around Mathematics\nLes « Ciga
 les » Une semaine autour des mathématiques\n\nÉdition des vacances de P
 rintemps\nLes semaines "LES CIGALES" (désormais deux éditions par an) on
 t pour but de proposer une initiation à la recherche en mathématiques à
  un groupe de lycéennes.\nDe manière plus large\, ce stage a comme but l
 a diffusion de la culture et de l'esprit scientifique afin de participer 
 à la lutte contre la désaffection des femmes pour cette thématique. Cet
  objectif n'est pas purement pédagogique\, l'équipe organisatrice accord
 e également une grande importance aux échanges informels lors de la prat
 ique sportive et les activités culturelles pour la cohésion du groupe de
 s filles (dossier de présentation).Les inscriptions sont ouvertes ! \n\n
 Toute lycéenne de 1ère volontaire peut postuler pour participer. Pour c
 ela nous attendons\, tout d'abord\, une lettre de motivation\, dans laque
 lle la candidate présente ses envies d'une part en ce qui concerne la dé
 couverte de la recherche en mathématiques et\, d'autre part\, sa particip
 ation à la semaine des Cigales. Nous attendons également une lettre de r
 ecommandation de son ou sa professeur.e de mathématiques de 2nde. Si la 
 lettre de recommandation ne peut pas être fournie mais que la lycéenne a
  tout de même envie de participer\, elle peut nous contacter directement.

 wo editions per year) is to offer an initiation to research in mathematics
  to a group of high school girls.\nIn a broader sense\, this training cour
 se aims at spreading the culture and the scientific spirit in order to par
 ticipate in the fight against the disaffection of women for this subject. 
 This objective is not purely pedagogical\, the organizing team also attach
 es great importance to informal exchanges during the sports and cultural a
 ctivities for the cohesion of the group of girls (presentation file).\nAny
  1st year high school student can apply to participate. To do so\, we exp
 ect\, first of all\, a letter of motivation\, in which the candidate prese
 nts her desires regarding the discovery of research in mathematics on the 
 one hand\, and her participation in the Cigales week on the other. We also
  expect a letter of recommendation from the applicant's 10th grade math te
 acher. If the letter of recommendation cannot be provided but the student
  is still interested in participating\, she can contact us directly.\n&nbs
