DESCRIPTION:: Dans son article "Asymptotic invariants of infinite groups"\,
  Gromov suggère que le groupe fondamental d'une variété riemannienne de
  courbure négative ou nulle avec un point de courbure strictement négati
 ve devrait avoir un comportement hyperbolique en un certain sens. Suivant 
 cette idée\, nous montrons avec Anthony Genevois qu'un groupe agissant g
 éométriquement sur un espace CAT(0) géodésiquement complet avec un poi
 nt possédant un voisinage CAT(-1) est soit virtuellement cyclique soit ac
 ylindriquement hyperbolique. Un tel groupe est dit "à peine CAT(-1)".Webp
