DESCRIPTION:: Mark POLLICOTT (Warwick University) Francois Labourie studied
  representations of (compact) surface groups into PSL(d\,R) (d>2) generali
 zing the traditional case of d=2 associated with Teichmuller theory.  In t
 he case d=2 one can associate a famous complex function called the Selberg
  Zeta function\, introduced by Selberg in 1956.  We will describe how to e
 xtend these ideas to the cases d> 2. Time permitting (which is unlikely) I
  will try to also make the connection to Weil-Petersson metrics. https://w
