SUMMARY:Lucas D'Alimonte (LPSM): Ornstein—Zernike theory for the near-cri
 tical planar random cluster model
DESCRIPTION:Lucas D'Alimonte: In this talk\, we will discuss the classical
Ornstein-Zernike theory\nfor the random-cluster model (also known as FK pe
rcolation).\nIn its modern form\, it is a very robust theory\,\nwhich most
celebrated output is the computation\nof the asymptotically polynomial co
rrections\nto the pure exponential decay of the two-points correlation fun
ction\nof the random-cluster model in the subcritical regime.\nWe will pre
sent a recent work\nthat extends this theory to the near-critical regime\n
 of the two-dimensional random-cluster model\,\nthus providing a precise un
 derstanding of the Ornstein-Zernike asymptotics\nwhen $p$ approaches the c
ritical parameter $p_c$.\nThe output of this work is a formula\nencompassi
ng both the critical behaviour of the system\nwhen looked at a scale negli
gible with respect to its correlation length\,\nand its subcritical behavi
our\nwhen looked at a scale way larger than its correlation length.\nBased
on a joint work with Ioan Manolescu.
