  Montgomery\, we discuss progress related to the following three problems:

 ents being Legendre symbol) have?\n\n2) How many times does the sum ∑n
 ≤N χD(n) change sign for a typical quadratic character χD?\n3) How man
 y real zeros does the theta function have?\nThe talk will be based on a jo
 int work with Y. Lamzouri and M. Munsch.
