DESCRIPTION:Jeanine van Order: Let K/F be a CM field\, n \\geq 2 an even in
 teger\, and \\pi a cohomological automorphic representation of GL_n(\\A_K)
 . I will outline two constructions of p-adic interpolation series for the 
 “algebraic parts” of the standard L-function of \\pi twisted by ring c
 lass characters factoring through anticyclotomic characters in the ordinar
 y setting\, along with some arithmetic applications (and new directions).\
