DESCRIPTION:: I will present the Palindromic Discontinuous Galerkin (PDG) m
 ethod. The PDG method is a general implicit\, unconditionally stable\, hig
 h order method for approximating systems of conservation laws. It relies o
 n a kinetic interpretation of the conservation laws containing stiff relax
 ation terms. The kinetic system is approximated with an asymptotic-preserv
 ing high order DG method. Because of the kinetic interpretation\, the impl
 icit equations have a triangular structure and are thus very fast to solve
