SUMMARY:Mathilde Guillaud\, Yohann Lebouazda (CPT): Présentations de sta
 ges de master
DESCRIPTION:Mathilde Guillaud\, Yohann Lebouazda: Présentation des trava
ogy of hidden sector Dark Matter models »\nThe nature of Dark Matter (DM
) remains to this day one of the biggest mysteries of our Universe. Though
\, Weakly Interacting Particles (WIMPs) have become one of the most popula
r theories for Dark Matter. In this model\, the DM candidate is a Dirac fe
rmion that couples to the Standard Model (SM) via a light pseudoscalar Axi
 on-Like Particle (ALP)\, in a DFSZ-like model.\nExperiments and astrophysi
cal constraints provided quite stringent bounds on the parameter space (ma
sses and couplings) and the standard production process\, i.e. freeze-out
might not be enough to get the observed relic density. Freeze-in and seque
ntial freeze-in have thus gained popularity and the latter will be the foc
us of this report. The procedure to treat this process is adapted from a p
aper by Belanger et. al. (2020)\, which considers a similar model with a s
 calar mediator.\nYohann Lebouazda\, « Self-consistent stationary equilibr
ium of a chaotic system: Application to a collisionless plasma in toroidal
geometry »\nWe study the collective dynamics of a collisionless plasma c
ontained in a torus\, which is subjected to an exterior magnetic field gen
erated by a coil curled up on its surface. The Hamiltonian framework is us
ed to describe the dynamical context\, which is in turn completed by a max
imal entropy principle in order to couple this aspect to statistical eleme
nts of the system through the Maxwell-Vlasov formalism. The outcome is a s
elf-consistent problem\, which might find applications in the understandin
g of chaos’ role in plasma confinement and tokamak Physics.\n\n&nbsp\;\n
