DESCRIPTION:Alex Taskov: Abstract: I will introduce random matrix theory a
 nd discuss how it can be used to capture universal properties of the spect
 ra of chaotic quantum systems. If there is time I will discuss how these u
 niversal spectral properties appear in a simple 2d gravity theory when we 
 take wormhole contributions to the gravitational path integral into accoun
 t. If there is even more time I will discuss why this is relevant for the 
 information paradox.
