DESCRIPTION:Boris Adamczewski: Introduite à la fin des années 20\, la mé
 thode de Mahler a pour but d'obtenir des résultats de transcendance et d'
 indépendance algébrique pour des valeurs\, en des points algébriques\, 
 de fonctions analytiques solutions de certaines équations aux différence
 s. Contrairement à son pendant différentiel\, la théorie des E-fonction
 s de Siegel\, la théorie des équations mahlériennes a longtemps été b
 oudée\, avant de connaître un regain d'intérêt à partir des années 7
 0\, notamment en lien avec la théorie des automates finis. Dans cet expos
 é\, je décrirai certains des enjeux de cette théorie\, ainsi que plusie
 urs résultats obtenus récemment en collaboration avec Colin Faverjon.\nS
 ome recent results in Mahler's method.\nIntroduced at the end of the 1920s
 \, Mahler's method aims to obtain results of transcendence and algebraic i
 ndependence for values\, at algebraic points\, of analytical functions tha
 t are solutions of certain difference equations. Unlike its differential c
 ounterpart\, Siegel's theory of E-functions\, the theory of Mahlerian equa
 tions has long been shunned\, before experiencing a resurgence of interest
  from the 1970s\, in particular in connection with the theory of finite au
 tomata. In this talk\, I will describe some of the challenges of this theo
 ry\, as well as several results obtained recently in collaboration with Co
 lin Faverjon.\n\n
