 r the twisted Cocycle for IETs and Translation Surfaces
DESCRIPTION:Pedram Safae: I start by giving an introduction to IETs\, trans
 lation flows\, and the notion of renormalization. Then I motivate and defi
 ne the rather new concept of twisted cocyle (originally defined by Bufetov
  and Solomyak). I will then discuss the existence of zero exponents and th
 e problem of non degeneracy of the spectrum for the twisted Cocycle depend
 ing on the combinatorial data of the IET. This is based on joint work with
  Hesam Rajabzadeh
