&nbsp\;\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe main aim of the conference is to bring
together mathematicians from France and Japan working in low dimensional
topology\, so as to encourage collaborations in the field between the two
countries. Although there will be a special focus on representation spaces
at large\, the seminars will cover a vast spectrum of topics in low-dimen
sional topology.\n\nSince the number of places at CIRM is restricted\, we
strongly encourage all those who plan to take part in the conference to pr
e-register as soon as possible. Pre-registration will close at the end of
October\, 2017. Note that we cannot ensure participation without pre-regis
tration or beyond the number of available places.\n\nThe organisers will b
e able to cover living expenses for a limited number of students and young
researchers. Students and young researchers wishing to have their living
expenses covered must apply for funding when pre -registering.\n\n\n\n\n\n
