SUMMARY:Marc de Visme (INRIA Paris-Saclay): Graphical Languages for Quantum
  Computation
DESCRIPTION:Marc de Visme: In this talk\, we will go through the basics of 
 graphical languages for\nquantum computation\, their advantages and uses\,
  and the two main\ntraditions of such languages:\n\n(1) Tensorial language
 s\, such as quantum circuits and the ZX-calculus\,\nin which computations 
 relying on quantum entanglement are easy to represent.\n\n(2) Additive lan
 guages\, such as graphical linear optic and the\nLOv-calculus\, in which c
 omputations relying on quantum control are easy\nto represent.\n\nThen we 
 will explore some recent attempts at unifying both traditions\,\nand the a
 dvantages and disadvantages of the various methods.
