DESCRIPTION:Asier Alonso-Bardaji: Abstract: In this talk\, I will explore t
 he modern singularity theorems\, celebrated as one of the most significant
  theoretical breakthroughs in General Relativity and Lorentzian geometry. 
 I will begin by defining the concept of spacetime singularities and then d
 elve into the groundbreaking result of trapped surfaces. Along the way\, I
  will highlight essential insights\, discuss open questions\, and showcase
  specific applications of the theorems in cosmological and black-hole spac
 etimes.\n&nbsp\;\n\n\n\nLe séminaire des doctorant⋅es de l'I2M et du CP
 T à Luminy regroupe chaque semaine les doctorant⋅es du site autour d'un
  exposé plus ou moins (in)formel\, dans un cadre convivial. Il est évide
 mment ouvert aux étudiant⋅es de master et aux doctorant⋅es d'autres l
