 ici un résumé :\n\nUndiagnosed diabetes is a significant source of risk 
 misclassifications in life and health insurance underwriting\, affecting m
 ortality\, disability\, and critical illness assessments. Because many app
 licants are unaware of their condition\, insurers relying solely on self-r
 eported information may underestimate true medical risk. This study examin
 es how complementary screening strategies can improve the detection of und
 iagnosed diabetes while controlling medical testing costs and enhancing fa
 irness strategy of testing.\nUsing data from the National Health and Nutri
 tion Examination Survey (NHANES) linked to mortality follow-up\, several s
 creening strategies are evaluated\, ranging from simple questionnaires to 
 a model without constraints. Logistic regression and gradient boosting mod
 els are used to estimate the probability of undiagnosed diabetes\, while m
 ortality is modeled using Cox proportional hazards. Economic performance i
 s evaluated through a loss ratio framework that incorporates underwriting 
 costs.\nA screening strategy combining a medical examination with a urine 
 albumin to creatinine test markedly improves detection and mortality segme
 ntation while remaining cost efficient. Testing about 30-40% of the highes
 t risk applicants maximizes underwriting gains but it creates unfairness a
 nd methods are developed to improve fairness.

 arged polymer models
DESCRIPTION:Julien POISAT: I will review some old and recent results on the
  topic of charged polymer models. Those are random walk models with disord
 ered interaction at self-intersections\, introduced by Kantor and Kardar i
 n the 90’s. Precise results have been obtained so far for the one-dimens
 ional model in the annealed setting\, showing a phase transition from a co
 llapsed phase (attractive interactions prevailing) to an extended phase (r
 epulsive interactions prevailing). Those results have been then extended t
 o higher dimensions\, in a more qualitative way. I will also mention a var
 iant model with quenched disorder\, for which a freezing transition was co
 njectured by Derrida\, Griffiths and Higgs. Based on joint works with Q. B
 erger\, F. Caravenna\, F. den Hollander and N. Pétrélis.

 xes in time\, according to a nonobserved stationary Markov selection proce
 ss\, two separate sources of randomness: i) a stationary process which dis
 tribution is accessible (gold standard)\; ii) a pure i.i.d. sequence which
  distribution is unknown (poisoning process). In this framework we propose
  to estimate\, with two different approaches\, the transition of the hidde
 n Markov selection process along with the distribution\, not supposed to b
 elong to any parametric family\, of the unknown i.i.d. sequence\, under mi
 nimal (identifiability\, stationarity and dependence in time) conditions. 
 We show that both estimators provide consistent estimations of the Euclide
 an transition parameter\, and also prove that one of them\, which is $\\sq
 rt$ n-consistent\, allows to establish a functional central limit theorem 
 about the unknown poisoning sequence cumulative distribution function. The
  numerical performances of our estimators are illustrated through various 
 challenging examples.

 th for Activated random walk on the line.
DESCRIPTION:Félix ROUVEYRE: The concept of self-organized criticality was 
 introduced by Bak\, Tang and Wiesenfeld to provide a framework for underst
 anding the emergence\, in various contexts\, of systems exhibiting long-ra
 nge correlations. The historical model they proposed was the abelian sandp
 ile. However\, it  suffers some lack of universality. It was a motivation
  for the introduction of the Activated random walk model which is robust\,
  and exhibits a phase transition governed by two parameters.\nDespite many
  progresses in recent years\, many questions remain opened on this model. 
 Among them\, the understanding of correlations functions is a crucial one.
  We make a step in this direction by establishing the existence of a chara
 cteristic length for the one dimensional version of the dynamic at a suffi
 ciently low density. This is a joint work with Grégory Maillard and Alexa
 ndre Gaudillière.

  hard math problems
DESCRIPTION:Kristin Lauter: AI is taking off and we could say we are living
  in “the AI Era”.  Progress in AI today is based on mathematics and s
 tatistics tools to train machine learning models on large amounts of data\
 , to accomplish various prediction tasks like classification.  \nThis ta
 lk will explain five years of work on AI4Crypto\, where we train AI models
  to attack Post Quantum Cryptography (PQC) schemes based on lattices.  Th
 is work is a case study in training small ML models to solve hard math pro
 blems in practice.  Our AI4Crypto project has developed AI models capable
  of recovering secrets in post-quantum cryptosystems (PQC).  The standard
 ized PQC systems were designed to be secure against a quantum computer\, b
 ut are not necessarily safe against advanced AI!  Understanding the conc
 rete security of these standardized PQC schemes is important for the futur
 e of e-commerce and internet security.  So instead of saying that we are 
 living in a “Post-Quantum” era\, we should say that we are living in a
  “Post-AI” era!

DESCRIPTION:Yash Lodha: A fundamental yet mysterious invariant in group the
 ory is the normal rank of a group. This is the smallest size of a set of e
 lements\, which if included in the set of relations\, render the group tri
 vial. The smallest size of the generating set of the group abelianization 
 provides a natural lower bound for the normal rank. The 1976 Wiegold pro
 blem on perfect groups asks whether there exist finitely generated perfect
  groups whose normal rank is greater than one. In joint work with Lvzhou C
 hen\, we demonstrate that free products of finitely generated perfect left
  orderable groups have normal rank greater than one. This solves the Wie
 gold problem\, since there are a plethora of such examples. I will also d
 iscuss some related open problems and future directions of inquiry.

 qui évitent un ensemble fini de motifs interdits. Ce modèle est étudié
  en particulier comme source apparemment infinie de problèmes indécidabl
 es.\n\nLes hom shifts sont une restriction du modèle où les motifs inter
 dits sont petits et isotropes (indépendants de la direction). Par contras
 te avec le cas général\, on peut répondre à de nombreuses questions co
 mbinatoires et dynamiques. La frontière entre problèmes décidables et i
 ndécidables est toujours largement ouverte.\n\nJe parlerai d'une série d
 e résultats autour de la question suivante : étant donné une coloration

DESCRIPTION:Benoit Guerville-Balle: Durant ma thèse\, j'ai définit avec A
 rtal et Florens\, un invariant d'enlacement des arrangements de droites da
 ns le plan projectif complexe. Cet invariant est une adaptation des nombre
 s d'enlacement de la théorie de nœuds. Il a prouvé son efficacité en d
 istinguant nombres de paires de Zariski\, i.e. deux arrangements ayant la 
 même combinatoire mais des topologies plongées différentes. Durant cet 
 exposé\, je présenterai un travail en cours avec Clément Dupont (Univ. 
 Montpellier)\, dans lequel nous revisitons et étudions cet invariant en u
 tilisant des outils issue de l'étude de l'homologie des variétés algéb
 riques. Cela nous permet de résoudre certaines questions ouvertes sur cet
  invariant ainsi que d'obtenir une formule explicite permettant de le calc
 uler simplement.

 of chaos for systems of interacting particles with simultaneous nearly-sta
 ble jumps
DESCRIPTION:Elisa MARINI: We consider a system of $N$ interacting particles
 \, described by SDEs driven by Poisson random measures\, where the coeffic
 ients depend on the empirical measure of the system. Every particle jumps 
 with a rate depending on its position. When this happens\, all the other p
 articles of the system receive a same random kick distributed according to
  a heavy-tailed random variable belonging to the domain of attraction of a
 n $\\alpha$-stable law and scaled by $N^{-1/\\alpha}$\, $\\alpha \\in (0\,
 2)\\setminus \\{1\\}$. We call these jumps collateral jumps. Moreover\, in
  case $0&lt\;\\alpha&lt\;1$\, the jumping particle itself undergoes a macr
 oscopic\, main jump. Similar systems are employed to model families of int
 eracting neurons and\, in that context\, main and collateral jumps represe
 nt respectively the hyperpolarization of a neuron after a spike and the sy
 naptic inputs received by post-synaptic neurons from pre-synaptic ones.  
 We prove that our system has the conditional propagation of chaos property
 : as $N\\to +\\infty$\, the finite particle system converges to an infinit
 e exchangeable system which obeys a McKean-Vlasov SDE driven by an $\\alph
 a$-stable process\, and particles in the limit system are independent\, co
 nditionally on the driving $\\alpha$-stable process. This talk is based on
  joint work with Eva L{\\"o}cherbach and Dasha Loukianova.

 deep-diving marine mammals\n\nNadège Fonvieille\, Christophe Guinet\, Bap
 tiste Picard\, David Nerini\n\nWe present a statistical method to reconstr
 uct the vertical thermohaline conditions in the Indian Sector of the South
 ern Ocean\, where temperature and salinity profiles are partially sampled 
 by female southern elephant seals. Datasets collected by biologgers provid
 e unprecedented spatial and temporal coverage of ocean conditions. However
 \, the maximum recorded depth varies with the animals’ behaviour\, offer
 ing only a partial view of the vertical environment. Using multivariate fu
 nctional Principal Component Analysis (fPCA)\, a parametric estimation of 
 the covariance structure and mean function from a set of complete bivariat
 e profiles allows the construction of an eigenfunction basis. By accountin
 g for measurement error variance\, partially sampled temperature and salin
 ity profiles can be projected into the eigenspace of the complete profiles
  through conditional estimation of their functional principal coordinates 
 and then reconstructed over the defined domain. For simulated snippet prof
 iles truncated at depth zmax = 250 m and reconstructed over Z = [20\, 500]
  m\, reconstruction accuracy increases by 36 % for temperature and 50 % fo
 r salinity when incorporating geographical covariates. We then reconstruct
  90\,000 incomplete profiles from the multivariate functional PCA of 10\,0
 00 profiles reaching 500 m\, covering approximately 3 million km² around 
 the French subantarctic islands.

DESCRIPTION:Ségolène Martin: We begin this talk with an introduction to g
 enerative modeling for image synthesis. Starting from discrete normalizing
  flows\, we move to continuous normalizing flows and finally to flow match
 ing. We clarify these approaches\, highlighting their specificities\, limi
 tations\, and provide simple implementation insights. We also discuss thei
 r connections with diffusion models.\n\nIn the second part\, we explore ho
 w these models can be used to solve linear inverse problems in imaging\, s
 uch as image inpainting\, deblurring\, and super-resolution. We emphasize 
 the connections between flow matching and denoising\, and show how these l
 inks can be leveraged within the Plug-and-Play (PnP) framework to address 
 inverse problems.

SUMMARY:Ralph Sarkis (University College London): Quantitative Diagrammatic
  Reasoning for Probabilistic Processes
DESCRIPTION:Ralph Sarkis: Algebraic structures and equational reasoning are
  fundamental tools in\nprogramming semantics since very early work in the 
 field. The study of\nprobabilistic programs poses several obstacles for th
 ese tools\, notably\nthe insignificance of exact equivalence and the need 
 for resource\nsensitivity. In this talk\, we introduce quantitative diagra
 mmatic\nreasoning as a solution to these two problems. This combines two\n
 well-known extensions of algebraic reasoning: quantitative equations and\n
 string diagrams. We will end with a case study where we give a\nquantitati
 ve diagrammatic axiomatization of relative entropy for\nstochastic matrice
 s. This is joint work with Fabio Zanasi.

 iliste des théories quantiques des champs\, en dimension 2 et dans le cad
 re Euclidien\, on s'intéresse à des modèles présentant certaines propr
 iétés d'invariance par transformations conformes.\n\nLes théories confo
 rmes des champs (CFT) de Toda sont des modèles dans lesquels le champ sou
 s-jacent est à valeurs vectorielles\, et généralisent la théorie de Li
 ouville. Les modèles de Toda sont censés présenter\, en plus de l'invar
 iance conforme\, un plus haut niveau de symétrie\, encodée par les algè
 bres W. Dans cette thèse nous nous intéressons au cas où le champ est d
 éfini sur une surface de Riemann (compacte\, connexe) à bord.\n\nUn prem
 ier apport de cette thèse est la construction des modèles de Toda sur le
 s surfaces hyperboliques avec ou sans bords (généralisant la constructio
 n de Cerclé-Rhodes-Vargas sur la sphère)\, grâce à des outils probabil
 istes. La présence d'une frontière entraîne ici des phénomènes nouvea
 ux par rapport à la CFT de Liouville : différentes conditions au bord so
 nt possibles pour le champ sous-jacent\, en lien avec la structure du grou
 pe d'automorphisme de l'algèbre de Lie cible. Nous explorons ces différe
 ntes constructions et identifions dans différents cas l'algèbre de symé
 trie des modèles proposés\, au sens des algèbres de vertex.\n\nDans une
  seconde partie\, nous spécialisons l'étude au cas le plus simple de CFT
  de Toda après Liouville\, c'est-à-dire quand le champ est à valeurs da
 ns l'algèbre sl3(C). Nous étudions ce modèle sur le demi-plan complexe.
  Dans ce cadre\, nous établissons la présence de symétries augmentées 
 sous la forme d'identités de Ward au bord\, ce qui était jusqu'alors inc
 onnu en Physique. Ce résultat passe par la définition rigoureuse des des
 cendants associés à l'algèbre W sur le bord\, à l'aide d'une procédu
 re de régularisation et d'outils probabilistes. Nous étudions ensuite l'
 existence de vecteurs singuliers dans le modèle\, et découvrons la prés
 ence de vecteurs singuliers non nuls au bord jusqu'au niveau 3\, ce qui es
 t également un phénomène nouveau par rapport à la littérature existan
 te. Ces propriétés permettent d'établir de nouvelles équations différ
 entielles hypergéométriques de type BPZ\, pour certaines fonctions de co
 rrélations de la théorie\, à savoir le corrélateur bulk/boundary et l
 a fonction à trois points au bord.\n\nCes travaux ouvrent la voie au calc
 ul de ces fonctions de corrélation\, étape clé de l'implémentation du 
 bootstrap conforme pour les théories de Toda. Ils mettent par ailleurs e
 n évidence des phénomènes nouveaux dans l'étude des théories conforme
 s des champs en dimension deux en présence d'une frontière.\n\nAbstract\
 n\nIn the framework of the probabilistic approach to quantum field theorie
 s\, in dimension 2 and in the Euclidean setting\, we are interested in mod
 els exhibiting certain invariance properties under conformal transformatio
 ns.\n\nToda conformal field theories (CFTs) are models in which the underl
 ying field takes values in a vector space and generalize Liouville theory.
  Toda models are expected to exhibit\, in addition to conformal invariance
 \, a higher level of symmetry encoded by W-algebras. In this thesis\, we f
 ocus on the case where the field is defined on a (compact\, connected) Rie
 mann surface with boundary.\n\nA first contribution of this thesis is the 
 construction of Toda models on hyperbolic surfaces\, with or without bound
 ary (generalizing the construction by Cerclé-Rhodes-Vargas on the sphere)
 \, using probabilistic tools. The presence of a boundary gives rise to new
  phenomena compared to Liouville CFT: different boundary conditions are po
 ssible for the underlying field\, depending on the structure of the automo
 rphism group of the target Lie algebra. We explore these different constru
 ctions and identify\, in various cases\, the symmetry algebra of the propo
 sed models\, in the sense of vertex algebras.\n\nIn a second part\, we spe
 cialize the study to the simplest Toda CFT after Liouville\, that is\, whe
 n the field takes values in the algebra sl3(C). We study this model on the
  complex half-plane. In this context\, we establish the presence of enhanc
 ed symmetries in the form of boundary Ward identities\, which was previous
 ly unknown in Physics. This result relies on the rigorous definition of de
 scendants associated with the W-algebra on the boundary\, using a regulari
 zation procedure and probabilistic tools. We then study the existence of s
 ingular vectors in the model and discover the presence of nonzero singular
  vectors on the boundary up to level 3\, which is also a new phenomenon co
 mpared to the existing literature. These properties allow us to derive new
  hypergeometric differential equations of BPZ type for certain correlation
  functions of the theory\, namely the bulk/boundary correlator and the bou
 ndary three-point function.\n\nThese results pave the way for the computat
 ion of these correlation functions\, a key step in the implementation of t
 he conformal bootstrap for Toda theories. They also highlight new phenomen
 a in the study of two-dimensional conformal field theories in the presence
  of a boundary.

 .\n \nIn this talk\, we construct an analytic stack \\mathcal{X} (in the 
 sense of Clausen-Scholze) that serves as a universal base for such objects
 . Quasi-coherent sheaves on \\mathcal{X} combine archimedean (liquid) mod
 ules and non-archimedean (solid) modules. In particular\, Deligne cohomolo
 gy groups appear as quasi-coherent sheaves on \\mathcal{X}. \n \nIf time
  permits\, we present a strategy to associate\, to any complex analytic ma
 nifold Y\, an analytic stack Y^{Del} over \\mathcal{X}\, whose relative co
 homology should recover Deligne cohomology. This is a work in progress.

DESCRIPTION:Jérémy Alpacca: Le point de départ de cet exposé consiste 
 à introduire la notion de surface algébrique (selon le point de vue de M
 iranda). On est alors amené à s’intéresser à leur classification bir
 ationnelle. Pour ce faire\, il convient de partir d'une idée assez nature
 lle : associer à une surface algébrique des invariants. Le cœur de cet 
 exposé s'articulera alors en deux temps. D'une part\, on étudiera des in
 variants tels que les plurigenres\, l'irrégularité ou encore la dimensio
 n de Kodaira. D'autre part\, on analysera leur rôle au sein de cette clas
 sification. Ce cheminement permettra notamment de faire émerger les surfa
 ces K3\, qui sont les objets centraux de ce groupe de lecture. Enfin\, on 
 présentera une famille importante d'invariants biréguliers : les nombres
  de Hodge. L’accent sera mis en particulier sur leur représentation à 
 l’aide du diamant de Hodge\, qui permet\, au-delà de son aspect esthét
 ique\, de déduire directement des informations topologiques sur ces surfa
 ces.

 bles for elliptic curves.In this talk we explain a method and algorithm fo
 r determining the primes of bad reduction for genus 3 CM curves.  The pr
 oof relies on defining and studying an embedding problem in genus 3 analog
 ous to the embedding problem defined by Goren-Lauter in genus 2.  In genu
 s 2 case\, an exact formula for the primes of bad reduction was given in t
 he work of Lauter-Viray\, but in genus 3 we give instead an algorithm to c

DESCRIPTION:Edmund Harriss: In engineering a problem is considered and then
  tools lined up to solve it. In the artisan tradition of craft the tool is
  asked what it can do. Just as mathematics is often a curiosity driven res
 earch\, different ways of experiencing mathematics can reveal different as
 pects of it\, and we might not know what might be revealed until we have e
 xplored the ideas. Mathematics is often involved in the details of underst
 anding what we are seeing. In this talk I will show illustrations of latti
 ces and flows on lattices using shaders\, some of the math that goes into 
 creating and understanding them and how this is leading to faster images o
 f algebraic numbers.

DESCRIPTION:Axel PENEAU: On s'intéresse à une marche aléatoire $(M_n = X
 _0 \\cdots X_{n-1})$\n à pas indépendants et de même loi dans $SL(\\mat
 hbb{R}^d)$. On appelle projection de Cartan \nl'application sous-additive 
 \n$\\kappa: M \\mapsto log|M|$. Il a été montré par Benoist et Quint qu
 e si \n$\\kappa(X_0)$ a un moment d'ordre $2$ fini et que les $M_n$ ne son
 t pas tous \npresque sûrement dans un sous-groupe virtuellement résolubl
 e de $SL(\\mathbb{R}^d)$ alors \n$\\kappa(M_n)$ satisfait un  théorème c
 entral limite auto-normalisé au sens où \nla loi de $(\\kappa(M_n) - b_n
 ) /a_n$ converge vers une loi normale quand \n$b_n$ est l'espérance de de
  $\\kappa(M_n)$ et $a_n$ est la racine carrée \nde sa variance. \nCe rés
 ultat découle du TCL pour les martingales stationnaires. \nSupposons main
 tenant que $\\kappa(M_1)$ a un moment d'ordre $2$ infini\, on \ns'intéres
 se  aux limites possibles de la loi de $(\\kappa(M_n) - b_n) /a_n$ \npour 
 $a_n$ et $b_n$  sont des suites arbitraires. Le théorème central-limite 
 généralisé \nde Paul Lévy décrit  les limites possibles de la loi de 
 \n$(\\sum_{k &lt\; n}\\kappa(X_k) - b_n) /a_n$ et donne \nl'expression des
  suites $(a_n)$ et $(b_n)$ en fonction de la queue de la loi de \n$\\kappa
 (X_0)$.\nMalheureusement la somme des projections de Cartan $\\sum_{k &lt\
 ; n}\\kappa(X_k)$ n'est pas \négale à la projection de Cartan du produit
  $\\kappa(X_0 \\cdot X_{n-1})$. De plus\, \nle théorème central limite g
 énéralisé pour les martingales étant faux \nil est hors de question d'
 appliquer la méthode de Benoist et Quint. \nPar chance j'ai obtenu un ré
 sultat de gain de moment duquel on déduit \nune loi faible des grands nom
 bres pour la différence \n$\\kappa(X_0 \\cdots X_{n-1})  - \\sum_{k &lt\;
  n} \\kappa(X_k)$. Ce résultat vient \nd'une propriété locale-vers-glob
 ale de contraction dans les groupes linéaires \nque j'expliquerai\, d'une
  construction astucieuse de temps de renouvellement \net d'un argument pro
 babiliste élémentaire : le minimum de deux variables aléatoires \nindé
 pendantes et $L^{1}$-intégrables est $L^{2}$-intégrable.

 the Springer correspondence
DESCRIPTION:Thiago Landim: Let G be a complex reductive group. In 1976\, Sp
 ringer described an embedding of the category of complex representations o
 f the Weyl group of G into the category of G-equivariant perverse sheaves 
 on the nilpotent cone of G. Recently\, there were generalizations of such 
 an embedding in two directions. First\, Rider obtained a derived embedding
 \, replacing the Weyl group by a degeneration of Lusztig's graded Hecke al
 gebra. Second\, Achar\, Henderson\, Juteau and Riche obtained the abelian 
 embedding for representations over an arbitrary regular commutative ring. 
 In this talk\, we will explain how to find a common generalization of both
  results\, using the theory of reduced motivic sheaves.
