 bout algebras of holomorphic functions
DESCRIPTION:Richard Aron: This expository talk will be about the algebra of
  bounded ℂ-analytic functions defined on Bc0\, the open unit ball of the
  Banach space c0 of null sequences. We will begin with background from the
  50+ year old paper by I. J. Schark\, going on to defining and discussing 
 the maximal ideal space (= space of homomorphisms on ∞(B c0)). If time p
 ermits\, we will talk about Gleason parts for this space. Most of this wor
