DESCRIPTION:: In this talk we will present some results on  extension of ma
 ps using obstruction theory under a non classical viewpoint. And as an app
 lication it is presented a simple proof of a theorem by Adachi about equiv
 alence of vector bundles. Also we will prove that\, under certain conditio
 ns\,  two embeddings are homotopic\, up to surgery\, if and only if the re
