DESCRIPTION:Yaofeng Su: In this talk I will talk about some new results for
  the escape and hitting statistics for various open dynamical systems. Thi
 s includes :\n\n 	Poisson limit laws for arbitrary slow mixing hyperbolic 
 billiards\, a connection to RH will be presented too\,\n 	polynomial and e
 xponential escape rates\, and\n 	where orbits prefer going in the phase sp
 ace of nonuniformly expanding dynamical systems.\n\nI will outline the ide
 a of the proof for it\, which uses a new operator renewal theory and gener
 alized Keller-Liverani perturbation theory.\nThis is a joint work with Pro
 f. Bunimovich.
