 ici un résumé :\n\nUndiagnosed diabetes is a significant source of risk 
 misclassifications in life and health insurance underwriting\, affecting m
 ortality\, disability\, and critical illness assessments. Because many app
 licants are unaware of their condition\, insurers relying solely on self-r
 eported information may underestimate true medical risk. This study examin
 es how complementary screening strategies can improve the detection of und
 iagnosed diabetes while controlling medical testing costs and enhancing fa
 irness strategy of testing.\nUsing data from the National Health and Nutri
 tion Examination Survey (NHANES) linked to mortality follow-up\, several s
 creening strategies are evaluated\, ranging from simple questionnaires to 
 a model without constraints. Logistic regression and gradient boosting mod
 els are used to estimate the probability of undiagnosed diabetes\, while m
 ortality is modeled using Cox proportional hazards. Economic performance i
 s evaluated through a loss ratio framework that incorporates underwriting 
 costs.\nA screening strategy combining a medical examination with a urine 
 albumin to creatinine test markedly improves detection and mortality segme
 ntation while remaining cost efficient. Testing about 30-40% of the highes
 t risk applicants maximizes underwriting gains but it creates unfairness a
 nd methods are developed to improve fairness.

 xes in time\, according to a nonobserved stationary Markov selection proce
 ss\, two separate sources of randomness: i) a stationary process which dis
 tribution is accessible (gold standard)\; ii) a pure i.i.d. sequence which
  distribution is unknown (poisoning process). In this framework we propose
  to estimate\, with two different approaches\, the transition of the hidde
 n Markov selection process along with the distribution\, not supposed to b
 elong to any parametric family\, of the unknown i.i.d. sequence\, under mi
 nimal (identifiability\, stationarity and dependence in time) conditions. 
 We show that both estimators provide consistent estimations of the Euclide
 an transition parameter\, and also prove that one of them\, which is $\\sq
 rt$ n-consistent\, allows to establish a functional central limit theorem 
 about the unknown poisoning sequence cumulative distribution function. The
  numerical performances of our estimators are illustrated through various

DESCRIPTION:Benoit Guerville-Balle: Durant ma thèse\, j'ai définit avec A
 rtal et Florens\, un invariant d'enlacement des arrangements de droites da
 ns le plan projectif complexe. Cet invariant est une adaptation des nombre
 s d'enlacement de la théorie de nœuds. Il a prouvé son efficacité en d
 istinguant nombres de paires de Zariski\, i.e. deux arrangements ayant la 
 même combinatoire mais des topologies plongées différentes. Durant cet 
 exposé\, je présenterai un travail en cours avec Clément Dupont (Univ. 
 Montpellier)\, dans lequel nous revisitons et étudions cet invariant en u
 tilisant des outils issue de l'étude de l'homologie des variétés algéb
 riques. Cela nous permet de résoudre certaines questions ouvertes sur cet
  invariant ainsi que d'obtenir une formule explicite permettant de le calc
 uler simplement.

 uct the vertical thermohaline conditions in the Indian Sector of the South
 ern Ocean\, where temperature and salinity profiles are partially sampled 
 by female southern elephant seals. Datasets collected by biologgers provid
 e unprecedented spatial and temporal coverage of ocean conditions. However
 \, the maximum recorded depth varies with the animals’ behaviour\, offer

 nctional Principal Component Analysis (fPCA)\, a parametric estimation of 
 the covariance structure and mean function from a set of complete bivariat
 e profiles allows the construction of an eigenfunction basis. By accountin
 g for measurement error variance\, partially sampled temperature and salin
 ity profiles can be projected into the eigenspace of the complete profiles
  through conditional estimation of their functional principal coordinates 
 and then reconstructed over the defined domain. For simulated snippet prof
 iles truncated at depth zmax = 250 m and reconstructed over Z = [20\, 500]
  m\, reconstruction accuracy increases by 36 % for temperature and 50 % fo
 r salinity when incorporating geographical covariates. We then reconstruct
  90\,000 incomplete profiles from the multivariate functional PCA of 10\,0
 00 profiles reaching 500 m\, covering approximately 3 million km² around 
 the French subantarctic islands.

DESCRIPTION:Axel PENEAU: On s'intéresse à une marche aléatoire $(g_n = g
 amma_0cdotsgamma_{n-1})$ à pas indépendants et de même loi dans $SL_2(R
 R)$. On appelle projection de Cartan l'application sous-additive $g mapsto
  log|g|$. Il a été montré par Benoist et Quint que si $kappa(gamma_0)$

DESCRIPTION:Evelyne Hubert: Invariants are essential for classifying mathem
 atical objects up to a group of transformations. For a compact Lie group\,
  there is always a finite set of polynomial invariants that separate the o
 rbits. Yet such a set is challenging to compute and can have high cardinal
 ity.Motivated by an application to neuroimaging\, we consider here the rep
 resentation of the group O3(R) on the space of ternary quartics R[x\,y\,z]
 _4. We characterize generating and separating sets of rational invariants 
 by their restrictions to a Seshadri slice. These restrictions are invarian
 t under O2(R) or the octahedral group. Their explicit formulae are given b
 y trinomials. The invariants of O3(R) acting on R[x\,y\,z]_4 can then be o
 btained in an explicit way\, but their numerical evaluation can be achieve
 d more robustly using their restrictions. The exhibited set of invariants 
 futhermore allows us to solve the inverse problem\, i.e. find a quartic wi
 th prescribed invariants\, and the rewriting of any invariants in terms of
  the generators.

 g dynamics\nof residual neural networks (ResNets)\ntowards their joint inf
 inite depth–width limit.\nWe focus on ResNets with two-layer perceptron 
 blocks\,\nwhose shape is determined by the depth L\,\nhidden width M\, and
  embedding dimension D\,\nand we adopt the residual scaling O(√D/√(LM)
 )\nrecently identified as necessary for local feature learning.\nWe show t
 hat after a bounded number of training steps\,\nthe error between the fini
 te ResNet and its infinite-size limit\nis O(1/L + √D/√(LM) + 1/√D)\,
  and numerical experiments suggest\nthat this bound is tight in the early 
 training phase.\nFrom a probabilistic viewpoint\,\nthe D → ∞ limit amo
 unts to a mean-field limit\nover the coordinates of the embedding\,\nwhere

DESCRIPTION:Djamel Eddine AMIR: Symbolic dynamics shares deep connections w
 ith computability theory\, descriptive set theory\, and topology. These co
 nnections can be illustrated through the study of the descriptive complexi
 ty of properties of subshifts\, as well as the computability of their lang
 uages. In the first part of this talk\, we discuss the descriptive complex
 ity of invariants of subshifts from both symbolic and topological perspect
 ives. In the second part\, we examine the computability of languages of su
 bshifts that admit only finitely many subshifts satisfying properties of l

 , a été généralisée par mon ancien étudiant João Carnevale\, et Chr
 istian Bonatti a conjecturé que tout groupe avec 2 points fixes est obten
 u par une suite de telles chirurgies. On prendra le temps de présenter un
  résultat partiel dans cette direction\, obtenu en collaboration avec Kye
 ongRo Kim.

DESCRIPTION:Félix Loubaton: One perspective on (Grothendieck) toposes is t
 o view them as a place where we\ncan perform a "set-like" theory. The ques
