DESCRIPTION:Marco D’Addezio: I will talk about the proof of the Hecke orb
 it conjecture for \nShimura varieties of Hodge type. This is a conjecture
  proposed by Chai \nand Oort on the geometry of the reduction modulo p of
  Shimura varieties. \nAfter recalling the statement\, I will explain how 
 to linearise the \nproblem using some “generalised Serre-Tate coordinat
 es” on central \nleaves. Subsequently\, I will explain how the monodrom
 y groups of \nF-isocrystals enter into the picture. This is a joint work 
 with Pol van \nHoften.
