I wi ll start by setting the historical context\, focusing on the mid-20th-cent ury debate between Einstein and Bohr over the role of non-locality in the formalism of quantum mechanics. Then\, I will outline the derivation of th e CHSH-Bell inequalities\, comparing predictions from a local hidden varia ble theory and quantum mechanics\, and briefly review how Nobel-prized exp eriments have resolved this debate. Finally\, I will discuss the feasibili ty of implementing Bell tests in a cosmological setting to tell us about t he quantum nature of fluctuations in the early universe.\n \;\n\n\n\nL e séminaire des doctorant⋅es de l'I2M et du CPT à Luminy regroupe chaq ue semaine les doctorant⋅es du site autour d'un exposé plus ou moins (i n)formel\, dans un cadre convivial.
