DESCRIPTION:Quentin FRANÇOIS: We describe from a probabilistic viewpoint\n
 the convolution product of two conjugacy classes\nof the unitary group U(n
 ).\nThe description is given\nin terms of a probability distribution\non t
 he space of central measures\nwhich admits a density.\nRelating the convol
 ution\nto the quantum Littlewood-Richardson coefficients\nand using recent
  results\ndescribing those coefficients\,\nwe give a positive formula\nfor
  this density.\nIn the same flavor\nas the hive model of Knutson and Tao\,
 \nthis formula is given\nin terms of a subtraction-free sum\nof volumes of
  explicit polytopes.\n\nWe will also connect\nthe probability density\nto 
 the computation of the volume\nof the moduli space\nof flat SU(n) connecti
 ons\nand to the Yang-Mills partition function.\nThis is based on a joint w
 ork\nwith Pierre Tarrago (ArXiv:2405.06723).\n
