DESCRIPTION:: In this talk I will introduce strongly invertible Legendrian 
 links in the standard contact three-dimensional space.\nAfter a short pres
 entation of the equivariant analogues of well-known theorems for both stro
 ngly invertible and Legendrian links\, e.g. the equivariant Legendrian Rei
 demeister theorem\, I will introduce the maximal equivariant Thurston-Benn
 equin number.\n\nI will conclude the talk discussing some experimental res
 ults and conjectures concerning the maximal equivariant Thurston-Bennequin
  number.\n\nThis is joint work with Paolo Lisca (Università di Pisa).
