I then tackle the problem of measuring and characterizing entanglement in pure states: first through the usual tool of the Von Neumann entropy\, and then by the use of a new measure\, the Entanglement Distance. I show how it can be derived from the Fubini-Study metric of a projective Hilbert space\, quotient of the natur al Hilbert space of the system with the set of local unitary transformatio ns\, and make a few remarks on some of the most interesting properties of this metric. Finally\, I introduce quantum mixed states\, how entanglement can be understood in this more complicated framework and the difficulties in rises\, before showing that the Fubini-Study metric in these cases all ows for the measurement of quantum correlations\, a somehow weaker form of entanglement.\n\n \;\n\n\n\nLe séminaire des doctorant⋅es de l'I2M et du CPT à Luminy regroupe chaque semaine les doctorant⋅es du site au tour d'un exposé plus ou moins (in)formel\, dans un cadre convivial.
