DESCRIPTION:Ville Salo: In the setting of symbolic dynamics on groups\, we 
 introduce the totally extremally permutive (TEP) subshifts\, a class of su
 bshifts finite type defined by a family of allowed patterns of the same sh
 ape such that\, given the contents of all cells except a corner\, exactly 
 one symbol is allowed in the corner cell. On acting groups admitting a nic
 e enough notion of "corner"\, the TEP subshifts share some niceness proper
 ties with algebraic subshifts\, namely they have decidable languages and a
 dmit an analog of the Haar measure.\n&nbsp\;
