SUMMARY: (...): The appearance of wave-like patterns on the interface of tw
 o ferrofluids
DESCRIPTION:: A system of two ferrofluids of an infinite width in the prese
 nce of a solenoidal magnetic field is considered. The heavier ferrofluid i
 s supposed to satisfy a nonlinear magnetization law\, whereas the lighter 
 one is linearised and normalized. Under these physical circumstances a sys
 tem of equations is extracted and the problem is transformed to an evoluti
 onary system in the context of spatial dynamics. A short bifurcation analy
 sis is then conducted and the existence of static solitary wave-like patte
 rns on the interface of the two fluids is proven as homoclinic solutions o
