 ive knots
DESCRIPTION:Livio Liechti: In the 60s\, Levine and Tristram introduced the 
 signature function\, a knot invariant with strong connections to the Alexa
 nder polynomial and four-dimensional topology. After an introduction to th
 e signature function focussing on these connections\, we compare the signa
 ture functions of some classes of positive knots. In particular\, we show 
 that the signature function of a positive arborescent Hopf plumbing is mon
