DESCRIPTION:Yakov Pesin: I will discuss existence\, uniqueness and ergodic 
 properties (including decay of correlations and the Central Limit Theorem)
  of equilibrium measures for the geometric potential for the Katok map\, w
 hich is the first known example of a diffeomorphism with nonzero Lyapunov 
 exponents. This is one of very few examples of nonuniformly hyperbolic sys
 tems in dimension greater than one for which such a description has recent
