The Green-Naghdi model is a reduced model, nonlinear and dispersive, for free surface flows.
We are interested in the structure of the time-discrete model.
It will be shown that the model has a projection structure similar to models of incompressible flows.
This result allows us to propose efficient and robust numerical schemes, as well as to define a class of boundary conditions.
