The appearance of wave-like patterns on the interface of two ferrofluids

A system of two ferrofluids of an infinite width in the presence of a solenoidal
magnetic field is considered. The heavier ferrofluid is supposed to satisfy a
nonlinear magnetization law, whereas the lighter one is linearised and
normalized. Under these physical circumstances a system of equations is
extracted and the problem is transformed to an evolutionary system in the
context of spatial dynamics. A short bifurcation analysis is then conducted
and the existence of static solitary wave-like patterns on the interface of
the two fluids is proven as homoclinic solutions of the corresponding reduced
