The main objective of this thematic trimester is to bring together physicists and mathematicians with different background (including physics of plasmas and fluids, turbulence and transport, scientific computing, multiscale analysis etc.) to discuss some of the outstanding open issues in theoretical and computational ITER-related physics.
The activities of this trimester will be shared between a series of weekly seminars and lectures for graduate students together with an international conference and seven mini-workshops on specialized topics. Potential attendants are encouraged to apply for longer stays to stimulate collaborations.
