In this talk, I will begin defining a valuation on a field. We will see that this defines a preorder on a group, and we will talk about some properties of the set of preorders on a group.
At the end, I will talk about the compacity of the set ZR(G) of the preorders of a given group, and if time allows, I will prove this result. This is a joint work with Guillaume Rond.
