Within this trimester three specialized workshops will be organized:
1. Mathematical models in ecology and evolution (V. Calvez, Lyon),
2. Mathematical Modeling and Statistical Analysis in Neuroscience (P. Reynaud-Bouret, Nice),
3. Mathematics of tissue and tumor growth (L. Almeida et B. Perthame, Paris). The aim of this final school is to gather representatives of these three communities and present, in a non-specialized way, the main conclusions of the semester. Being given the recent events, we propose to include a new theme on epidemic spread.
Courses
The four courses will be on subjects related to the themes:
Cell motion, mechanics of living tissues and tumor growth: Luigi Preziosi (Polytechnic of Turin)
Ecology and Evolution: Vincent Calvez (CNRS – Université Lyon 1) and Tâm Mignot (LCB Marseille)
Neuroscience: Alex Roxin (CRM Barcelona) Notes on Meanfield Models for Spiking Networks – Exercises – solutions – LINresponse
Epidemic spread: Lionel Roques (INRAE Avignon) and Raphaël Forien (INRAE Avignon)
Wednesday morning will be devoted to biomedical aspects for oncology
