Progress in the understanding of unitarily invariant random tensors

After recalling some facts about large unitarily invariant random matrices, I will expose our progress in generalizing them for large unitarily invariant random tensors, with a focus on moments and free cumulants of arbitrary order. The presentation is based on some ongoing work with B. Collins and R. Gurau.
