There are currently two main methods for establishing o-minimality for a given class of real functions. One of these is based on quasi-analyticity, which in turn is usually a consequence of some version of the Phragmen-Lindelöf principle. I will give an overview of this method and describe current efforts to extend them to classes characterized by transserial asymptotic expansions.
