How to construct a planar Brownian motion from simple path and loops

During this talk, I will present
a joint paper with N. Berestycki
in which we introduce and study
a map which takes as inputs
a simple path and a infinite collection of loops,
and returns the path obtained
by attaching to the simple path
the loops it visits chronologically.
When the inputs are a Schramm–Loewner evolution with parameter 2
(the scaling limit of the loop-erased random walk)
and a Brownian loop soup, we prove that the output
is a planar Brownian motion, solving an old conjecture
from Lawler and Werner.
