Eating in Marseille
Here is a list of some restaurants (please warn the staff in advance if you decide not to eat at CIRM):
- Le petit Nice: very expensive (200 euros) but very good ( 3 star on the Michelin guide), in Malmousque. Another restaurant form the same chef is "La Table" at MUCEM (70 euros).
- L'épuisette: expensive (from 90 euros) but good ( 1 star on the Michelin guide), in Vallon des Auffes.
- Chez Michel: expensive (Bouillabaisse at 65 euros) but generous and good (1 star on the Michelin guide), fish only, aux Catalans.
- Axis, Le Balthazar, La Cantinetta: Three good restaurants, starting at 25-30 euros, from Michelin guide.
- Chez Toinou: A good sea food restaurant, price raisonnable (form 45 euros for 2) but with self-service, on the Canebiere.
- Pizzeria Noel (on Canebiere) and Pizzeria Chez Sauveur (in Noailles): two good pizzeria of Marseille
- Le Femina: A delicious algerian restaurant: try the barley couscous, price around 20 euros, in Noailles, (just behind Toinou)
