Measure rigidity for actions of adelic tori on homogeneous spaces

E. Lindenstrauss proved that the action of the full adelic torus on the homogeneous space PGL(2, A)/PGL(2,Q) is uniquely ergodic, in contrast to the geodesic flow on the modular surface. I will discuss analogues of his result to certain higher rank spaces. Joint work with M. Bjorklund and M. Einsiedler.
