Bernstein center of supercuspidal blocks

Let G be a connected reductive group defined over a non-archimedean local field k and let R(G(k)) be the category of smooth representations of G(k). The Bernstein center is the center of the abelian category R(G(k)). I will review some basic results of the theory of Bernstein center. I will then talk about Jiu-Kang Yu’s construction of « tame » supercuspidal representations. Finally I will present my result about the centers of tame supercuspidal blocks.
